Brutalist wallet pass designs

Concrete, hard edges and one loud color. Brutalist cards borrow from 1960s architecture and from the web design that took its name.

Sketches of each design. The builder draws the real one on your own pass, with your gym's name, and every color and sticker can change.

About brutalist designs

Brutalist designs here stack flat blocks of color with no gradients and no soft shadows, and set the place's name in a heavy grotesque. They suit climbing gyms, co-working spaces, design museums and anywhere with exposed concrete.

Good to know

How do I put my membership card in a brutalist design?
Pick a brutalist design on this page. TapIn opens wearing it. Scan or type your card's number, add the place's name and logo if you like, then tap Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet. It takes about a minute and it is free.
Can I change a design after I pick it?
Yes. A design is a starting point. In the builder you can change the card color, the pattern, the lettering and the stickers, add your gym's logo and your photo, and drag every piece around, at any step and right on the pass.
Will the front desk still scan it?
Yes. The design only changes the artwork. The barcode or QR code is the one on your card, drawn by Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in its own white panel, which is what the scanner reads.
Do these designs work in both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet?
Yes. The same design becomes an Apple Wallet pass on an iPhone and a Google Wallet pass on Android. Each wallet lays out the text its own way; the strip artwork and colors are yours in both.
